At Burgess Peaks Beef & Lamb Boxes, everything starts on our farm just outside Raglan.

We’re a family-run farm focused on raising quality stock through strong genetics, careful breeding, and good farming practices — because great meat starts long before it reaches the plate.

Our cattle are predominantly PiedAngus, alongside Angus and Piedmontese bloodlines, bred for marbling, tenderness, flavour, and performance. Our sheep are Wiltshire and Wiltshire-cross from our terminal line, producing strong, meaty lambs with excellent growth and eating quality.

Everything we sell is grass-fed, naturally raised, and born and grown on our farm. We know the full history of every animal — from birth through to finishing — giving you complete traceability and confidence in where your food comes from.
