Why We Started Burgess Peaks Beef & Lamb Boxes
Why We Started Burgess Peaks Beef & Lamb Boxes
If you've ever wondered where your meat comes from, you're not alone.
For many people, buying meat has become as simple as picking up a packet from the supermarket. But somewhere along the way, we've lost the connection between the farm and the dinner table.
At Burgess Peaks Beef & Lamb Boxes, we wanted to change that.
We're Emma and Jason, a family farming just outside Raglan, New Zealand. Every animal we sell has been born or carefully selected, raised on our farm, and looked after with pride from day one.
Because we raise our own stock, we know the complete story behind every cut of meat. We know how each animal has been cared for, what it's been fed, and the standards we've worked hard to maintain throughout its life.
Our cattle are 100% grass-fed and combine Angus and Piedmontese genetics, giving us beautifully tender beef with exceptional flavour and natural marbling.
Unlike many supermarket products, our beef contains no added preservatives or additives. It's professionally processed, vacuum packed and fully traceable from paddock to plate.
We don't believe buying quality meat should be complicated.
We believe you should know the people who raised it.
You should know where it came from.
And you should feel confident serving it to your family.
That's why every Burgess Peaks box is packed with the same care we'd expect for our own table.
Whether you're filling the freezer, planning a family BBQ or putting a slow-cooked meal in the crockpot on a cold winter's day, we're proud to be part of your family's meals.
Thank you for supporting local farming and choosing to buy direct from the people who raise your food.
From our farm to your table,
Emma & Jason
